Six-month equine reproductive internship (available March through August 2021). Great opportunity is available at Equine Reproduction Concepts, LLC, a modern reproduction facility in northern Virginia. Exposure to general and advanced reproductive techniques. Position will involve palpation; ultrasonography; artificial insemination with fresh, cooled and frozen semen; reproductive evaluations of the stallion and mare; collection and evaluation of semen; embryo recovery and transfer; and foaling. 90% percent in-clinic/10% ambulatory. Salary $4,000.00/month plus percentage of gross income shared. Monthly salary amount includes reimbursement for PLIT, health insurance and on site housing.
